Harrah's New Orleans

Harrah's has 'upgraded' many of their machines. The old 3P quarters
are now 3P/5P but the paytables have been downgraded to Ugly Ducks
(15/9, the JOB is either 9/5 or 8/5, and the DB is 9/7. There are
still a few single line quarter 9/6 JOB. We were just there for
three days and spent most of our time playing a progressive bank
of .50 9/6 JOB. (There were other games available but JOB was the
best.) When we left on Saturday, the progressive was well over 102%
and climbing. Since we didn't hit it, we had a losing weekend. The
High Limit area remains untouched. The inventory at Harrah's NO has
gone steadily downhill throughout the year. We have made four trips
this year and probably will not go again. A technician told us the
remaining .50 bank is due for an 'upgrade' in the near future.

When we were there the 15 and 16 it was at $3400(I think)and I had a
good run for 5 hours playing a fast as I could for one session from
11:30PM to 4:30AM, actualy made a little. Of course I had a great
time it the high limit room. What was the cash value of that 102%
(Royal Flush)?

The Royal was @ $4400 when we left. The odd thing was that my
husband and myself were virtually the only ones playing this bank
(except for a few drop-ins)for three days even though it was the only
positive play in the casino. By Saturday night, as we were leaving,
the seats were filling up drawn, I am sure, by the sheer number.
