I stayed at Harrah's last week and was surprised to run across a play
that might be interesting to the mid or lowrolling tourist who wants
to stay on the Strip. 500 slot club points per day qualifies for a
free room and $25 (as I recall)food and beverage comps. At $10 per
point this translates into $5000 coin in per day, which in my
experience is pretty generous for the Strip. If you plug away at the
$1 or $2 JB your expected loss is about $25. Toss in $10 CB. If you
actually put value on the room this is a good play. Returns deminish
after you've earned that room comp and play would be better placed
elsewhere, IMO. The comp information is posted on the wall behind
the slot club booth.
Note: Points do not seem to be averaged or compiled. You need to
meet that 500 point tier in a day to earn that comp. As allways, try
to confirm before playing.
