Harrah's LV Update PLS

The Harrah's DataBase page includes the latest inventory
information that members have chosen to share with others,
and I've seen recent reports that the $1/$2 9/6 JoB are still
there.

Please update here the $1 or higher playable games at Harrah's Las
Vegas. The database information looks quite old. Any VP game, single
or multi or STP or Spin or whatever, in or out of high limit would be
appreciated. Please include 25c if exceptional, but I don't suppose
they have anything playable at that denom

I'm going to Vegas next month on a free offer from Caesars, which has
been showering me with offers since I put in play there before VP was
downgraded.

Some people have said that Harrahs rates JOB play at such a
low "theo" that it's best for my status (i.e., for getting good
Harrahs offers) to not play at all, rather than play $10 or $20K of
JOB. I wouldn't mind playing a few hours of JOB, or even Bonus poker,
for the sake of future offers, but I certainly wouldn't do so if it'd
*hurt* future offers (relative to not playing at all).

I've already got my Diamond status through Mar 09, so that's not an
issue. There are other Harrahs locations (A.C. or Reno) where I can
play in the future to keep my Diamond status and comp account
healthy. I'm just concerned about their "avg play" stats that
determine my offers.

Sorry if this has already been talked to death and I've missed the
advice. I'd appreciate any insight on this matter, should I put in
JOB or Bonus Poker play at Harrahs LV properties, or spend my efforts
at Circus or Wynn or somewhere else that might generate future deals.

Many thanks,

The two machines outside the buffet that have $1/$2 9/6 JOB and 8/5
Bonus Poker are definitely still there. I played 'em yesterday.

Playing JOB to boost/maintain your rating at any Harrah's Las Vegas
casino is no longer an option. It will only hurt your already
established rating. It would be better to take them up on their offer
and give someone else your action.

I agree. With the theo set to near zero you will no longer see any
knowledgable players on the 9/6 machines at any HET LV property. A
player is better off stiffing them and milking the mail for a few
trips.

Is it just the 9/6 JoB or is it also the 8/5 BP and other 99+ machines?

REPLY/QUESTION: Does this advice apply if I'm not concerned about
discretionary comps or Bonus Reward Credits, i.e., if I only care about
maintaining my Diamond status and receiving some free-night offers by

JOB machines in Vegas actually HURT the quality of my mailed and online
offers? Thanks.

From a basic understanding of the TR system rather than personal experience
here, my guess would be yes. Value of offers will decrease with play on
these machines. You are tripping yourself with play, but receiving a low
daily theoretical loss. Theo is what offers are based on.

.....and that is what causes your ADT to drop, with the resultant loss of comp's, either mailed
