Harrah's LV Update PLS/Best Play Now for Mail at LV/HET

I have pretty much the same sentiments. The problem with the Las Vegas properties is that there
are hardly any machines that fall into that group of "around %99 return" . There are 5 or 6
machines in quarter denominations in all of Las Vegas.

I have come up with a solution. Stay in Vegas but don't play a lot there. Play at the Harrahs
properties that offer better machines. In other words don't gamble at the properties that cater to
tourists. Gamble at the properties that cater to gamblers. Go to Harrahs Laughlin or casino
Windsor, or Atlantic City to play. Go to Vegas stay in a nice property and play elsewhere or at
Paris.

So the real point of this discussion is do you gamble to win, or do
you gamble for comps? Harrahs has drawn their "line in the
sand": "Sure, we offer 9/6 Jacks, play it all you like. Just don't
expect good comps."

My personal prefernce is to drop down just a notch or two to Bonus or
even 9/7 Double Bonus. Yes, in the long run I am sacrificing 1/2% or
so. But if it gets me enough "goodies" in return it's worth it.

If you are playing strictly for the highest return on the game itself,
then don't do what I do. It's none of my business. I'll just wave from
my comped small suite while you're sleeping in your car.
