Harrah's LV Update PLS/Best Play Now for Mail at LV/HET

I was at the Flamingo in early June and they had 9/6 DDB if you don't mind
playing that.

But a big factor to out-of-towners (which should be the only folks looking at
a LV HET play) is the "Theo" given to this or any game on the floor.

It is my understanding any decent game at a HET outlet does not cough-up any
Bonus Credits, which is a sign that the Theo sucks. Folks who explore the
hidden clues behind the Total Rewards frontage know that Zero times Almost Zero
sucks now for offers.

So what kind of Bonus points do these DDB games produce? Will the mail be
strong enough to give up 1.1% on the VP roller-coaster ride?

One comes to mind which is probably break even or small winner if you
only play it in conjunction with the right promo, but we're talking $5
Triple Play, which is beyond the realm of 99% of the posters. You're
on your own from here, but there's only 6 properties to scout.

There have been a number of posts implying that Harrah's has
substantially turned down the comp rate for the 9/6JOB options in LV.
I infer from the way the posts are written that this is concluded
because the number of bonus credits given is 0.

Some posters are implying that Harrah's is rating 9/6 JOB players at a
lower rate.

- Did anyone actually verify this by comparing trip theo (from the
host) with coin in? (I'm assuming play on a MG machine)

For frame of reference, when I played 9/6JOB (on a MG machine) at
Harrah's Lake Tahoe last week, my host quoted my Theo that correlated
to 2% of coin in (for computing ADT).

I have a relatively high ADT, and I could still tolerate playing 9/6
JOB with no bonus rc's if Harrah's sends offers which essentially pay
0.3% cashback (which they have done ~1/month for the last few months)
along with the points for the christmas gift thing and the occasional
small discretionary comps.

One other question:
- Has anyone played the $1/$2 9/6 JOB machines at Harrah's LV
recently? Is it still giving out bonus credits? (I'm aware that the
bonus rc's have been turned off for $5 machines at all of the
properties for some time now, as well as the $1/$2/$5 machine at Flamingo)

Yes, I ran 30k through the 9/6 at the Flamingo about a month ago and my ADT dropped
significantly.

Looks like i need to head up to Lake Tahoe.

And from my question (message # 76889)

The question I have been trying to find the answer to is where do they
draw the line. We know 9/6 Jacks is on one side of it. How about 8/5
Bonus? Ace$ Bonus? Joker Poker? Are you sure dropping down a notch
will get you better offers or does it have to be 2 or 3? Perhaps below
99.1%? That seems to be a bit more of a blurry line. If you can help
sharpen it I would appreciate it.

tbf,

Did you happen to get your trip theo from your host to get an idea of
what % theo they are actually giving on that machine? (If you don't
have that number, is 30k approximately an average amount of coin in
you made for the last 6 trips? and if so what % did your theo drop?)

I'll be going to Harrah's Laughlin next weekend, and I'll probably
mostly be playing the 5/10c 50 play JOB. I'll make sure to note the
number of bonus credits given and also the trip theo relative to my
coin in... hopefully the host we be open with that info... in the 3-4
times I have ever asked a host (basically my last 3-4 trips), the host
never hestiated to provide that into.

thanks...

Yes. I played them on Thursday of this week. Earned just over 3,000
base points and over 10,000 bonus credits.
