Harrahs Laughlin Update

I am posting this update on the general board because I know some of
you are going to get some great offers from across the country.

The Market Square Buffet is being renovated until April. They are
feeding the masses by opening up the Blue Agave for an
entree/continental breakfast fixed price deal. They are doing a
limited dinner buffet in the showroom.

So, no show in the showroom except for the Laughternoon comedy act.

To my suprise Harrahs actually replaced some of the old IGT and Sigma
playable games with playable IGT TITO games. The place is now 90%
TITO. You can play in dollars at nice slantop Jacks, DB and NSUD.
Three new upright Gamekings actually have .25 Jacks too. Two .50
Jacks also are available. The high limit area has not been updated
yet.

Craps can be found at $5. Blackjack, DD and shoes, at $5.

I have not stayed here since 1995, so no update on the hotel side.

I did spend a couple of late mornings here. I found the cocktail
service acceptable at the VP games and tables. The dealers were
experienced and fun. I was chasing drawing tickets playing BJ for an
in-house BJ tourney promotion.

Hope some of you get a fly-in and stay offer soon.

Just returned from 5 day fly-in trip. The most irritating part was
not being on the passenger rosters going or on return which resulted
in the extreme security checks .This is the result of poor
planning/coordination by Alligient Air(return flight delayed by crew
having wrong time ,pst/mst).
The hotel was better. At check-in ,packets were ready, allowing quick
access to your room. The rooms are getting a litle worn, but they are
very clean as is the rest of the hotel. The showerhead was loose ,I
called the desk and it was fixed immediately.
Diamond level services were very fast & friendly.
Coffeeshop service was not consistent, sometimes slow sometimes fast.
Dinner at the Range was excellent as was the service, better then
that at LV Range.
Floor service was sometimes slow and personnel were bitter about the
TITO system.

VP and table gaming was as "Bluestreak" has explained.

The new slot club is very poor as cashback and explaination of how
it works.Have not recieved my cashback kickback check yet.

As for returning to Laughlin,we would only return on free air/room
offers. We recieve many other offers for Harrah's Laughlin but would
not use them, because LV has much more to offer,w/o travel problem.

Laughlin is better suited for ppl who are in easy driving distance
and enjoy the on the water benifits available.
