My wife has corrected me and said it was a "joint"
account problem we ran into. At the rio we earned
diamond status as a "joint" account. Hers was the
primary account, mine is linked to hers. When we play
there the machines show a "combined" account summary.
When I played at the strip Harrahs, the points only
added to my subaccount, we weren't linked there.
Then we gotoAk-chin. As we checked in, the lady told
my my wife was a diamond, but I wasn't. If I was to go
to the Diamond Club my wife would have to escort me!
We went to the Total awards to ask about it. They
reissued me a platinum card and asked me not to use my
Rio diamond card while there.
Evidently, in Arizona they can't link accounts. so the
problem was linked accounts, not Fast tracking.
