Recently spent 5 days in Laughlin at Harrahs and expected that I
would receive some cash back for a future trip after I returned
home. I booked the trip through an agent and suspect that because it
was a junket they may not offer cashback to the individual player.
Can anyone tell me if Harrahs Laughlin normally offers cash back to
players.

What month did you play in? There is a month lag time. The first
week in February I am expecting a bounce from my December play.
My July play got me a check in September good for a year and could be
cashed in Laughlin or Las Vegas. It was about .1% of my coin-in.

Thanks for your feedback. I was there the first week in December so
it sounds like I should expect something in the next week or so. If
the cash back is valid for a year and can also be used in Vegas it
would be just great. I expect to be back to Vegas within the next
six months but will probably pass on Laughlin.

played heavy at both rio and harrahs laughlin in early october
and by mid dec. had received no bounceback. went to diamond desk
at rio during dec. trip, not staying at their properties, and
following jean scott's always wise advice, just asked. was i to
receive bounceback or not in mail and the failure to do so thus far
had caused me to stay at another hotel. could not have been more
helpful. checked my record and gave me a cash voucher for about 200.
had the feeling it was routine for her as no supervisor was involved.

It really isn't cashback as traditionally defined, and yet it really
isn't bounceback either with such a long valid period. What term
should we use..."long duration bounceback (LDBB)"?
What is unique to Harrahs is you need to play every six months (12-18
months is the industry standard)to keep your Reward Credits and Tier
Score going, but then they send out LDBB good for a year for
Laughlin, Vegas and Rio play. Another way folks should remember to
keep their accounts active is to use the Harrahs Visa card every six
months.
