I have received communication from a host, who has helped me set up my next
trip, in a few weeks, and I'm happy with the trip arrangements so far -- but he
too could not tell me anything about my cash back, except that I should have
some coming and I should check at the cashier (???!!!) when I get there.
HET properties will send a folded postcard with detachable voucher, titled
"Cash In The Mailbox".
My postcards usually arrive two months after I have returned home. You
should have received the
postcard by now if your trip was in March. What you can do: on your next
visit, go to the
Total Rewards counter and ask them to check if you have "Cash In The Mailbox"
from your March
visit. They should be able to issue the voucher at that point and the
voucher may be cashed at
the main Cashier.

One must earn 4500 base reward points during a stay to receive the mailing.
I have no idea how
these points add up and it depends on the games you play. I've read that
some high denomination
VP games at HET properties will not give you as many base reward points as a
regular slot machine.

I'm puzzled as to why your host couldn't give you this information.

Kindest regards,
M. Miller

I was thinking that was only for Vegas locals. Do out-of-towners get that too?

All Harrah's properties give the same amount of base reward credits. It takes $10 coin-in to earn one base credit on a video poker machine; only $5 on a slot machine.. BONUS credits vary, depending on the property and the individual machine. I discuss this subject in next week's Frugal Fridays.

I have just received my "Cash In The Mail Box"
covering May play. However, my wife did not receive
hers yet. Check with a Total Rewards Desk.
