The following information is based on my experience only, and should not be
considered the gospel. Capitals are for emphasis only. Nobody in Kansas City
should be upset with me for posting this, as no secret super plays are
revealed herein. (This concludes our disclaimer!)
In past multipoint promotions, your BASE credits (1 point earned for every
$10 played thru a VP machine) that were earned were multiplied, and they
PROBABLY only count toward your comps. In past promos, I did not see an increase in
my cash back or in coupons, although coupons are based on your level of play
from 3 months ago (or so I have been told). They DEFINITELY do not multiply in
counting toward your tier level. If they did, I would have made 7 Stars a
lot easier.
BONUS credits help build your comps, but I do not know if they count toward
cash back or coupons. I am too lazy to do the math, and it is difficult to get
a straight answer from Total Rewards, Diamond Services, or anyone else about
this. I do know that bonus credits vary quite widely among different banks of
machines with quarter AA on them. In dollars, most machines give you only
about one-third the number of bonus credits as you earn in base. In quarters,
it varies from one-third to almost double.
As I do not drink beer, you guys can keep the Coors.
