I was told Harrahs has removed the full pay AA.
If so is there any other decent play
harrahs kansas city
If they have, it must have been since Saturday
afternoon (2/14), because I was just playing it there.
I'll check on this, but I can't make it back until
Friday (I have double points coupon for that day).
As for your 2nd question, they have (had?) JOB 9/6 at
the quarter and dollar levels. They might also have
full pay quarter PE, but I don't play PE so I'm not
sure. I can check that Friday night, too.

Carlos,
Please let us know if AA was pulled from the Gamemakers of if the
Gamemakers were removed altogether.
Thanks.

Nothing has changed. Lucky Lucy and I were there today and they still
have full pay AA in both 25 cent and $1. Also still present are the
.25 & $1 9/6 JOB and full pay Pick'em.
We have been on an extended road trip for the past 6 weeks and today
is the first time we have been to Harrah's since returning. I didn't
do a complete inventory but looks like nothing has changed since we
were last there in early Jan.

I almost forgot to mention this:
There has been a big change at Harrah's KC, and it
doesn't bode well for VP'ers.
The KC Star reported earlier this week the General
Manager of KC Harrah's has moved on to other things.
It was not a firing (at least not publicly). He's
taking a position at a different company.
Furthermore, there will be no new GM at the KC
property. St. Louis and KC Harrah's will be managed
by the same GM. Considering Harrah's St. Louis
removed all their full pay AA in 2003, this
development could mean bad things for KC Harrah's.

That is good news/bad news. Obviously good news that the games are
still there.
Bad news is :
Bill Keena, the GM of Harrahs STL, was instrumental in the
destruction of FPVP at the STL property. He was very aware of AA and
knew that it would cause a lot of players to leave. After it was
pulled, many of the locals complained to Keena and stopped playing.
This was last summer and fall when Harrahs was taking a serious
pounding from Ameristar in overall revenue numbers. The place was
SERIOUSLY struggling. Keena held the line on the AA. In fact, the VP
at Harrahs STL is worse right now then it's EVER been. There are no
playable .25 machines in the casino. There is (1) .25 8/5 Bonus and
(1) .25 9/7 DB, but I do not consider these games playable due to
Harrahs miserable cashback. The end result? Harrahs STL posted record
#'s last month. Sigh.
For all the KC AA players, I strongly suggest playing as much as you
can to re-up your Diamond status ASAP. My guess is the days for AA
there are numbered. Get your status so you can milk Harrahs for as
many Diamond benefits as possible through 3/05.
