Previously rated Sachem wife got Harrah's offer to fly two people to
Reno/Lake Tahoe end of September for 4 nights plus transfers.
Out of Providence so Harrah's is now doing junkets from New England.
I was just whinning about the lack of junkets a couple of weeks ago.
I think the Atlantic City's Reno/Tahoe are trying to wean off the
commuting gamblers. Maybe they see the writing on the wall from local
casinos (ie: California, Pennsylvania and even Rhode Island:-)) snark.
The Harrah's is not a real junket. Its a block of seats on Southwest.
You leave in the morning and land in Chicago and arrive Reno late aft.
Coming home late morning arriving Providence late evening.
If you cancel 31 days or less have to pay $407/person! Wonder if they
have trip insurance option. Wife wants to stay at Harrah's in Reno
because of the "many" opportunities. That's after telling me the leaves
will be turning color. snark
