Bummer. I was there a couple of weeks ago. It was a 5X day and the 3
multis were taken. I settled for a spinpoker one line at a time. NSUD and
SA was still available on my machine. If you were willing to step up to
dollars, the combination of slot benefits and machine inventory was far
superior to MS, IMO. I played a little bit at Empress also. It will be
interesting to see if I get a mailer.
I wasn't able to find anything playable at Blue Chip, but their marketing is
very aggressive for the tiny amount of play I gave them. If they could get
just a few machines at 99.5% it could be a good play.

I saw the downgrade on one of the 50-play last week, someone was
pounding away at the other one $250 a pop. The 3/5 play still had NSUD
and the STP still had 9/6 JOB.
I agree the steaks were never very good at Van Burens, I think
Hollywood has the best casino steakhouse...thier crabcakes are great
also...although its been a few years since I've played there....years
ago they had the best fourless chocolate cake but I know that is no
more.

I suppose this was inevitable (as people seem to flock to Harrah's
regardless of the lousy offerings)... just returned from spending the
night there and found that the three 50P machines w/ FP JB, NSUD, and
SA have been downgraded. To my knowledge, there is no good reason to
play at this casino anymore.
FWIW, had dinner at Van Burens. The Crab/Avacado Salad was
absolutely
delicious, as was the Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake. They continue to
serve cold bread w/ frozen butter; the steaks were very average.
