Here are two recent examples of trying to redeem offers on-line and then calling when it waqs not available.
The first was booking an offer for (4) nts , plus coin and reward credits at Harrahs Ak-Chin. I tried to book this on-line and it came back with (2) nts comp and charges for the other (2) nts. The charge as $200+ for one nt and 300+ for the other) I tried calling and booked the offer for the (4) nts without a problem. I then called and used up all of my points on (4) airline tickets.
I called Ak-Chin and spoke with a host and asked if there was anyway we could get a second room since we were (4) people. The host was extremely nice over the phone and said he would look into it and get back to me. Three days later he called back and comped a second room for all (4) nts.
If I try to book a room in A/C it comes back with a charge for each night. Yet I can call a junket operator I can get comped airfare, suite and RFB status where they will comp charges above available points and you do not get charged the taxes in A/C.

One more thought ... if you really want teh most from Harrah's, do NOT
book online, call or email your host at your local Harrah's
establishment. They will get you the best deal, every time.If you do not have confidence in your host, ask for a new one.
