I just want to know if their is anyone taking advantage of the
triple cashback which is being offered for the month of march at
harrahs in atlantic city ? does anyone know if the triple cashback
puts 9/6 job over 100%?

This is very surprising. I've never heard of Harrahs offering X
times cashback at any property in quite a while.

What they do at most properties is offer "x times points". The
points that are multiplied are ONLY base reward credits, not tier
credits, and not credits that will multiply cashback. For example,
a "3x points offer" is actually only worth an extra 0.2% in comps.
The wording on most of the offers is generally confusing (probably
intentional!) and could possibly be interpreted in many different
ways.

I haven't seen the offer you're referring to, but from my experience
at a number of Harrahs, I'm guessing it's only a base reward credit
multiplier promotion. I could be wrong, but you might want to double
check this offer before you invest significant play on this promo.

Due to remodeling, the line of quarter GMs with AA that were
alongside the escalator have been removed. I hope it's a temporary
situation, because these machines paid a LOT of bonus points.

Speaking of bonus points, ALL the machines (VP and slot) at Harrah's
KC no longer display your Reward Credit points, cashback and tier
score. When you insert your card, the machines say, "Your
information is being gathered. Keep playing to earn more points!"
It doesn't help to remove the card, wait a minute then reinstert it.
Same message. You have to go to the Total Rewards booth and ask to
get your point totals and cb.

I don't know why I bother asking the Useless Booth Mutants at
Harrah's any questions. I'm trying to think if I've EVER gotten a
straight answer out of them. I asked what was the deal about the
machines not displaying the player's points and she said, "Yes, that
happened when they changed the system last summer. They're supposed
to change it back soon." I didn't bother pointing out to her the
system was working just fine two @#$%^#! weeks ago, so it
wasn't "last summer".

It looks like the reduction of AA inventory at Harrah's KC is
permanent. The line of seven quarter GMs (as well as the dollar
slots) on the upper level next to the escalator have all been
replaced with new slot machines that are very pretty to look at.
There are still plenty of AA machines at this casino, but I guess
this is a sign of what's coming.

Also, the problem with the machines no longer displaying a player's
tier score and cashback is NOT happening to everyone. Just a few
lucky individuals (like me). Once again, I went to the TR counter to
ask about it. This time I got some useful help. The lady said
several players had reported the problem. She made a copy of their
slot card and was giving them to the IT staff so they could
investigate. She also said it would take 3-5 days for the problem to
be fixed. Fair enough.

PS If you have screen shot software (and too much time on your hands)
go to the Harrah's website and watch the intro. When the three people
playing video poker appear, capture the image. You'll see they are
ecstatic and congratulating each other because the guy in the green
shirt has drawn a 2d 9c Qh Jc Ah. Perhaps this hand is a huge winner
