Tons of sinlge line 9/6 Jacks in $.25 to $25. NSU in single line
$.25/1/2/3, Plus Jacks &NSU in $1/2 3plays. Also Bonus Delux, Jacks
& Super Double Bonus in 50 cent and $1 3/5 plays. Multistrike Jacks
at $1 (short pay at .25 and .5), 50 and 100 play .01/.02/.05 NSU,
Jacks, Dueces bonus, Bonus Delux. There are others, like Db,DDB,
but in LA games aren't allowed to be over 100% so they are much
shorter pay than the other options available.
There are others, make sure you check the paytables a lot are good,
a lot are bad and a lot of people just play away without knowing the
difference.
Good Luck

Just wondering...
I am a newbie here, from the regular vpFREE site. As a Texan, thinking of visiting the
Harrah's in Bossier City, what are the state tax consequences that, maybe, I should be
aware of? Is there relevant information somewhere accessible at this site? I took a short
look-round and did not find anything obvious.
Thank you.

Yes, in LA taxes can be an issue. Any jackpot $1200 or higher on
slots or VP and they will automatically hold 6% out for state tax.
You have no choice at the time they pay you. At year end you can file
an IT-540B non resident LA tax return and get refunded some of that
amount. It is a graduated system, so the first couple of W's you get,
you will get most of the money back, as you accumulate more and more,
the amount you get back decreases. Over $100k or so in W2's and you
can pretty much figure any additional W'2 will be a full 6% kept by
the state.
If you are just going once or twice in a year, it really shouldn't be
a big issue, just stick with lower denominatation/multiline games that
don't generate a lot of W'2s and you shouldn't have to worry too much.
Good Luck,
TC
