Harrah's " Horseshoe " VP Tourney

Harrah's "Horseshoe"
Set to play in two VP Tournaments in Nov. and one in Dec. The 2006
Video Poker Millionaire Maker on Nov. 22 and Jack's Video poker
Shootout on Nov. 30 and Dec. 28. Millionaire Maker is, 1 st. place
$1500 and a trip to Lake Tahoe to go for the Million. Jack's
Shootout is $1500 for 1st. place and $5000 bonus for the higest
total score from Nov. and Dec.combined.
Am trying to get the paytable out of them, so as to practice some.
So far all I have is that it will be DB and there is a 4500 coin RF.
Any help along these lines will be appreciated.

The Eldorado, Shreveport,LA
The other day I got my Eldorado card (replaces the Hollywood's).
They moved me down a notch from the Celebtity level/Hollywood to
Eldorado/ Gold level(4000 pts./year). At that level 100 pts. equals
$6.00 cash back. I believe the count was displayed at 71 quater
equals one pt. while I was playing.
Here is a couple of notes on their Club Eldorado brochure:
- Adjustments to earned comps on certian games may be based on skill
level.
-Complimentarys value may vary accroding to game type.
- 14 months to redeamed comps earned or forfeit.

The top or President's Level(10,000 pts./year) supposedly will have
a slightly higher CB ($7.00 per 100 pts.) and other special
features. One email I got stated "...richer cash and comps rewards
in the near future." For this level.

I played at the Eldorado this evening, points on VP are earning at
the rate of $10 coin in = 1 point. This is the same rate as slots
are earning, effectively makes the cash back rates .5%/.6%/.75%
depending on which level you are at. Slot booth people say it takes
$20 coin in to earn a point which is what it was in the past, so
they don't know the machines are paying at the slot rate. Must have
been a mixup in the change over of systems, when Horseshoe changed
over in the summer they had their VP cashback paying at the slot
rate for about 6-8 weeks, they discovered it and changed it back
to .25%. I'm sure it will be discovered and changed, but in the
meantime enjoy it while it lasts.
Good Luck,
TC

71 coins? that sure is a strange number - at nickles that comes to
$3.55 / point, dimes = $7.10/point and quarters $17.75/point. If you
are playing nickles or dimes that is a great rate, quarters isn't so
hot, but better than the advertised $20/point. I played the 5 play $
NSU and it was giving 2.5 points per $25 hand or $10/point. Hopefully
they keep this rate for a while.
