I had a Harrah's New Orleans cashback coupon which I couldn't take to New
Orleans since my trip is cancelled (obviously). I took it to the Rio yesterday
and they cashed it, even though slightly expired. Another person reported
Shreveport honored their New Orleans coupon.
Anyone with coupons for any Harrah's properties can try to take them to
other properties to be cashed. I don't know if they might honor Besh steakhouse
or other types of coupons, but it couldn't hurt to try.
Apparently Harrah's New Orleans casino is little damaged (if at all). At
last report it was being used as part of the staging area for National Guard.
Until New Orleans is drained and downtown hotels are liveable, you can bet
that this casino will remain closed.
