even print out a picture of item with full information to bring with you.
Some of the items were not on display (such as Omaha Steaks and Legal
Seafood). Almost all items on display seem to be the same they have online.
The current Wrap Up is going on at Harrahs for the next week or so.
Interestingly, the Diamond Lounge is open earlier in the day than usual - like noon
during weekdays and 10 a.m. on weekends, and staying open later on some days,
due to the Wrap Up.
At Wrap Up there were no refreshments at all. Again making me think that
Harrah's new Motto is - Gamble at Harrah's, we are Cheap.
The next wrap-up is in Dec. at Caesars.
You can choose either to go to - it doesn't matter.
Married people can combine accounts.
People were friendly and as helpful as they could be (some didn't know a lot
about specific products but tried). Room is crowded with merchandise and a
bit confusing. Look for large signs such as "Sony" or "Godiva" to help find
what you want.
If you pick up the small cards for each item you want, it is easier for them
to scan item into system.
Items can be sent to different people at different addresses, and even to
Hawaii. If you are shipping to Canada, prices are substantially higher
(despite decline in the American dollar).
Since you continue to earn Gift points til the end of the year, if you are
planning to play more in Vegas, you may be better off to go to the Dec. gift
wrapup.
Points are those earned in Las Vegas ONLY. You have to appear in person.
Married folks wanting to combine accounts must both appear in person at same
time with ID.
If you are unable to go, but have substantial points, you can always try
contacting a host, but most likely you will have to go in person.
