Harrahs, Flamingo VP Jacks

The $5 9/6 Jacks or better machine is now gone. It is now 8/5 Jacks.

The best video poker is now 9/5 Jacks triple play $1 in the high limit.

Sad they had to change the ONE machine with a decent pay table.

They did this right before the winners collected in the Winterfest VP tournament. Since everyone was getting vouchers you had to play in the casino, it did not seem "fair." You check out where you are going to play, go back to collect your voucher 1/2 hr. later, and a slot tech has closed the machine saying he is "putting on more games."

I wonder if other Harrahs properties are going to do the same?
Laughlin is dead, Flamingo is dead, what is next?

$25 a spin for a 97.3% game--they'll be sure to get a lot of play.
Meanwhile, inexplicably, every HET in AC has 9-6 available from quarters on up. Including some progressives. Why they seem intent on punishing Nevada VP players is beyond me.

It is very sad. The Harrahs (now Caesars) execs cry about the low play they are getting these days yet they continue to downgrade their machines so players can't get a decent pay. You can be sure if they are downgrading VP they are lowering payback on many other slots as well.

One would think that they would rather make 1-2% on many $$$$ than 3-4% on -0- $$$$.

Wanting more play but not giving players any reason to give it to them makes no sense at all.
