Harrah's East Chicago

Thanks! I will be there a week from Wednesday on a bus tour so I hope they
are changed by then. (I am not counting on it.)

I can confirm this report having talked with the Casino Manager, Joseph
Scibetta, who told me that the guy responsible for the changes was fired.

He

said the fix could not be made immediately because they needed to get
approval from the Indiana Gaming Board. However, he couldn't be specific
about which machines were to be restored and if they would really be
restored to the preTITO levels. It will be interesting to see the changes.
Mr. Scibetta said many people had complained....But I observed most

machines

···

full over this Valentine's weekend.

I got a follow up phone call from East Chicago host Laura Guetschow about
the vp paytable restorations. Mr. Scibetti asked her to call and let me know
that some paytables would be restored as early as tomorrow 2/17 so we should
see improvement on our next visit. I asked if she knew which machines and
she said machines on the 3rd floor. I asked what about the first floor and
she was not sure. I explained how they killed the progressive and the white
hot aces.. I didn't mention the 50 plays or 3 play. She THINKS the first
floor will be fixed as well. She explained that someone checked out the
paytables of their competitors and Harrah's found out Harrahs wasn't
competitive at all. Therefore, they are going to fix things. I will be there
Friday night. If someone can get there before I do, please report any
changes you may find. Thanks!
