Harrah's East Chicago

Some good news! I just spoke with Boyd Reese, the assistant director
of slots, he said the trashing of the vp machines was actually
accidental and that they would be restoring several machines to their
original, pre TITO upgrade, levels. He expected this conversion to
take place soon, within the next week or two.

I can confirm this report having talked with the Casino Manager, Joseph
Scibetta, who told me that the guy responsible for the changes was fired. He
said the fix could not be made immediately because they needed to get
approval from the Indiana Gaming Board. However, he couldn't be specific
about which machines were to be restored and if they would really be
restored to the preTITO levels. It will be interesting to see the changes.
Mr. Scibetta said many people had complained....But I observed most machines
full over this Valentine's weekend.
