Harrah's East Chicago

It is Thursday 2/5/04. All first floor video poker is shut down to changeover to TITO. (I was told that no pay tables would be changed but I do not trust them!) They said that they would be open by Friday night. (We'll see.) I took the bus there today , so after I played two shoes of blackjack (+$52.50) and collected $25 in comps I did not play anything else. When I first went to the Diamond Lounge, they would not let me in due to over crowding and not enough food. (I did get in there later.) It would be nice if the bus service would have warned me as the bus to Trump (and Majestic Star) is three doors down from the Harrah's bus. (Lincoln Village area.)

Friday night 11:44 pm
The machines on first floor are now up and running AND as expected
al the paytables have been totally TRASHED. This includes the
old .25 NSUD, the WHite Hot aces (now 6/5), and the .05 50 plays.
One is still out of service but it appears that everyone has
terrible paytables. Harrahs has done it again! The triple play $5
nsud is still intact but we anticipate that too wil be trashed when
the move it to TITO with the rest. While every machine was not
checked there apppears to be othing else even REMOTELY playable.
What is scary is that the place was very busy with people playing
this "refuse". We plan to go on a comp burn, room use, coupon
cashing, reward credit binge. Although things may change at some
point I see absolutely no reason to give them any play.

Looks like time to move somewhere else. Ednar
