Harrah's East Chicago

The first floor "dungeon" is closed today and tomorrow. The
new "Fast Action" 25c triple play on the third floor is garbage. The
best game by far is 6-5 jacks which is 97.6% with the bonuses. The
other games are all well under 97%. (Note: that not only is the
deuce game the 15-10 sucker version but 4 deuces is only 160.) They
have a sign that looks like multiple progressive meters on top of
this bank but they are not running.

The other side of that room is being set up for $1 DDB. There are
multiple progressive meters above this bank too but the machine, I
saw them testing was 8-5 with no progressives. If so then ouch!

I noticed some other changes today. The quarter JB and 9/6 DDB are
MIA. The old multigames now contain 8/5 jacks, an inferior deuces
paytable and several video slots. On a positive note, there is now a
triple play (quarter) machine with 9/6 jacks and NSUD on the table
games level.

7/5 BP progressive was at 2K+ this morning putting it just positive.

Construction notes: Decoration of the vp "dungeon" seems to be
completed. Indirect lighting now periodically changes color of
walls. Woohoo. Diamond lounge seems to be getting chopped up for
some reason. Premier club at Majestic has moved off the boat, though
can be accessed from high limit room --A smart play since dockside
gaming lessens the value of an onboard lounge.
