They are referring to the same old crap!
The few new machines they have added are very short pay.
The best games are all related to progressives as no base game over 98.015% in the house.
Possible plays:
1. 25c progressive downstairs. 7-5 bonus is the best base game but since each game has it's own progressive that is often not the best. 7-5 bonus needs a little over $1900 for break-even if you ignore taxes. The 9-6-5 DB and 9-5 DDB need a few dollars more and the 10-4-3 Bonus 2's need almost $2150 to be even.
2. $1 9-5 DDB five way progressive on the third floor. You need to figure out how much the progressives add.
3. 25c Triple Play Fast Action on the opposite wall from the $1 9-5 DDB. This is a real crap shoot. In theory this game might currently be a reasonable play as the last time I was there the all hands royal was about $42,000. If all the other progressives are dead minimum, this game is about 99.1% playing specifically the 6-5 jacks. (The other games are about 1-1/2 to 3% worse!)
Harrah's sent a letter saying they would be putting in a bank of 99% games. I will believe it when I see it.
It is kind of silly since almost 300 full pay games are 1-1/4 miles away at Majestic Star and Trump. The former has many over 99.9% and one progressive bank that is almost always positive not counting cashback.
