I gave up on Harrahs Diamond Lounge (formerly called Claudine's)
because the air quality in there is absolutely atrocious. If you get
two or three cigarette smokers by the TV the whole room is polluted.
On many occasions I entered and left a few minutes later without
bothering to order a drink. You'll get better air - and a better view -
in The Range.
But if you stick it out in the Diamond Lounge, yes, the "mudslides"
are great. Jerry, your server, has been there for ages. Beware - tip
poorly in there and you will definitely sense you did a "no-no".
Those of you who stay at Paris should know there is also a "hidden"
VIP lounge. Ask your host for an elevator key to that floor.
The new Caesars VIP Lounge in the Augustus Tower is attractive, but
you'll find a wider variety of easier-to-access goodies in the Mirage.
The T.I. has good quality liquors right there for the taking on the
shelf - grab that bottle of Silver Patron and we'll both have a snort
together. Add a dash of Chambord on top and you'll think you've gone
to heaven.
