Actually, the bus we're taking(the best deal - by _far_ - among bus
trips from our area) is a bus to the Sands(and TPlaza, but Sands pays
WAY better; they're actually giving us MORE back than our trip
costs!). From there, we're going to Ballys(to redeem my
weekly "welfare check"), then over to Showboat(to get my this-day-
only $10 and our FREE FQB dinner for TWO).
And I not only checked the other bus offers departing from our local
mall, I also checked about bus trips to(any of the 3) casinos @the
Marina. They haven't had any for over 10 years and don't anticipate
having any anytime soon. When I expressed surprise that all the hype
and hoopla surrounding the Borgata hadn't resulted in a bus to there
being offered, she said "Well, that's up to the casinos, not us(nor
the bus companies, apparently).".
It's not really a matter of which casino the bus trip's to anyway.
It's more a matter of having a mere 6 hours @AC, the fact that the
FQB'll take up about 1/3 of that, etc.
Just say "No." Ride the bus to Showboat and at least go next door
to Resorts to play!
Unless I'm mistaken, neither Showboat OR Resorts have 9/6 JoB(even
Harrahs AC has that!). I've played at both, and I actually do(much)
better at Showboat, one machine in particular.
So, since I'd be playing 8/5 at either Showboat or Resorts(for this
trip anyway), I'd rather play where I've had a better and more
profitable history(and that one particular 8/5 JoB machine @Showboat
is MINE tomorrow afternoon, lol).
If Resorts had 9/6, you can "bet" I'd be playing over there
tomorrow! But if they've got ANY 9/6 JoB(in ANY denomination, tho I
play quarters) @Resorts, that's news to me(as well as many others
here).
