Harrahs considers higher level card

I got a survey from Harrahs. They are considering adding another
tier above diamond. If you get one of these surveys, I suggest you
consider not just your best answer, but the answer most likely to
influence them to do what you want them to do.

Most of what they would offer I consider to be fluff. I personally
think that another tier would likely result in a further dilution of
cashback and comps to "pay" for the new benefits. If you wouldn't
qualify (they don'e hint at the level of play required), it obviously
is at best a neutral but probably a negative.

There are some essay questions. I always feel free to ignore the
question and editorialize about whatever I want. I use every Harrahs
survey as an opportunity to complain about:

Generally confusing slot club
low and mysterious cashback
lack of same day cashback
fast expiring cashback
low comp point accumulation
highly restrictive offers

I got this too. They're asking about stupid "benefits" like robes with a
higher-tier insignia or having your car washed while it's in the valet.

The heck with that. Just bring back real RFB and make the hosts worth a
damn again, so I don't have to get nickel-and-dimed every time I want to go
to a restaurant or order a bottle of wine.

I editorialized plenty.

I also encourage everyone who was an RFB player and who got hosed in the TR
switch to stop going to any Harrah's property, ever. If you're going to
show up and play their crappy short-pay games, you should at least get a
decent comp level -- go somewhere where your business is appreciated!
