If I remember correctly you earned a boatload of these RC at Phoenix-Harrahs
Ak-Chin. Ak-Chin appears to have one of the best Multiplier programs in the
HET family. Earning 8+ Reward Credits per Tier credit is not typical.

Some properties (Midwest region) playing the best VP earn zero Bonus credits.
Multiplier promos vary greatly across the HET casinos.

My Laughlin experience I have earned about 1.5 Bonus per 1 Base overall.
Short play days on good VP sometimes means zero Bonus earned.

Having an abundance of RC is not a given.

You are right, however I was mainly addressing those individuals
approaching or have obtained a 7* level. They could have an
abundance of reward credits. I know many others, including myself,
do not play at that level and have significanly fewer reward
credits.
I am still looking for any "good deals" for my reward credits
other than long flights to Harrahs casinos. Other than cetain
flights, I think the next best thing is Gift Visa Cards. Laine Wolf
mentioned those special thing money can't buy such as Chippendales
or special golf lessons. I think you can buy those things, or for
that matter, anything with cash! Maybe Harrahs price is better,
but at first glance most things in the "Rewards Menu" catalog do
not appeared priced special.
You are right about Ak Chin having better mutlipler days. Do you
realize that on every Sunday and Wednesday this July (after July
9th) Diamond and 7* members recieve a 10 times multilier on those
days. Platinum is 8 and Gold is 6. It is part of their "3 Million
on the House" promotion. Last year if you played all 5 Tuesdays
(I think it was in May) each multiplier day was increase by 2
starting with 2 to an eventual 10 for your 5th Tuesday. I play
only a couple of coins on the first 4 Tuesdays and hit it real hard
on the 5th. This was before I was even concerned about "daily
average" Ak Chin does not have a Diamond in a Day program. This
was basically my DIAD for 2005.
I play mostly $1 vp at Harrahs Laughlin and usually earn better
than that. I know at Ak Chin it is 2.45 bonus points for every
tier point on the machines I play. I think Laughlin is similar
on similar machines, but I will let you know exactly after my next
trip.
Again, I was mainly addressing 7* players and those approaching
$100,000. That level of play (7*) is hard to obtain only playing
video poker. I do not see the value in terms of risk/reward.
Another problem is wanting to maintain good offers from other
casinos because the have better vp plays. I also should add the
assumption that gambling at casinos is not the only thing I want
to do! I aware of the short play problem and I will often not
swipe my card if I am not willing to invest some time an money.
This has seemed to work, not only at Harrahs, but other casinos.
I just received a mailer stating Harrahs Laughlin reward credit
multiplier days will be on 9/19, 10/9, and 11/6.

Recent Ak-Chin multiplier days (during the summer
twice a week!) have been 10x multiplier for diamonds
and above.
