-Worst casino in the entire Harrah's system, maybe even in the country. The paybacks are awful, the machines are in need of maintenace, the -hotel and restaurants are dreadful. Good luck.
-There is some $5.00 NSUD available in the high limit area.

I visit Cherokee 1-2 times a year. Yes the video poker choices are older and paytables are weak. But they do pay quads and royals. Quarter machines near the buffet are active. They also have an old video poker called shamrock 7's. A fun game but the machine is so old it is hard to believe they had video poker then.
For a nice snack order the ice cream cone from the deli counter by the buffet. For $2 it is the biggest ice cream i have ever had.
Enjoy the lobby and hallways with the Cherokee nation historical art. It is enlightening. The pool is nice and rooms have a great view.
Go for a ride up the mountain towards tenessee. the views are amazing. If you go when the road to Clingmans Dome is open it is also an amazing side trip.

This is 2 1/2 hrs from us so by far the closest casino. We go rarely now because it does just suck down your money in no time. This property has also left a bad taste, for me, for the Harrah's brand name.
That being said Shamrock 7's is a very game that I also play when we do go.
