I have blasted Harrahs Cherokee enough times that I thought I would
post something positve about them for a change. They are always
running some kind of promotion and for several years instead of a
drawing that you had a ticket in your hand they have just been calling
out names and you would have three minutes to claim your prize. I must
admit I had been doubting how they chose the names that were called
out. Last Friday I was there to see Tom Jones in concert and I had
swiped my card for the Bust the Bank Promotion even though I hadn't
been there in months, and didn't guess one number correctly when I
swiped my card, after calling out about 8 names before mine, and
people not being present, they called my name and I won $1000! I was
really surprised, and very grateful considering I had not even hit 4
of a kind up to that point on any of their video poker machines and
was kicking myself for even being in the casino. I did manage to make
it home the next day $500 ahead for the trip but only because of the
drawing. We do not have a chance in North Carolina at a fair game !!!
Happy Fourth of July to all of you...Hit some Royals...as soon as I
get my 30,000 points I will be back in Las Vegas !!
