Found what was listed as 8/5 BP in .25 upright (GameKing I believe),
but was not the usual BP. The only difference in BP and JOB on this
machine was 150 coins for any four-of-a-kind on BP. People were
playing 8/5 JOB instead of BP, which made no sense. The BP didn't
have any of the normal four-of-a-kind breakdowns, only an increase
to 150.

Yep, this is an option on the IGT Game King platforms. It really claims to
be "Bonus Poker" on the main menu screen.
I first saw it, what two years ago when Main Street Station changed out the
Boar Bar bartops with new technology. It has surfaced in Laughlin too at the
River Palms.
There is a 8/5/30 (98.5%) version and the preferrable/playable 8/5/35 (99.6%)
paytable too. This paytable just popped-up at the Aquarius in Laughlin.
Then there are the Super Bogus Bonus games out there that do have the
traditional Bonus Poker quad payoffs but the bottom end is 10/8/5/3/1/1.

That was a fine walk-around of Cherokee. I was a bit confused about the
progressive banks. Is the whole bank tied to the same meter or does each game
have their own progressive meter?
