Harrahs CB .I Got My Check Today

I was extremely excited as I opened my mail from Harrahs- Rio today and it
said, Congratulations! You have earned over 4500 Reward Credits in November! You
qualify for Cash in Your Mail Box Reward.

Drum Roll.. I put through 48000 earned $32. I think that is .00067. I
overstated their cash back in my last note.

I am not sure but I think the cash in your mail box is in addition to your
regular cashback. It's still not that great but a little better than
.00067. In relation to this, I have a question. I get "bounceback" cash
all the time from Harrahs/Harveys Lake Tahoe that are only good for about
one month. I never get these from Las Vegas. Is this because Lake Tahoe is
considered my "home" casino or do they just not send these types of coupons
from Las Vegas? Also from my little play at Harrah's Reno I get small
"express play" coupons that you just put in the machine. It seems like
there are many ways to get cash back from Harrah's. Harrah's continues to
confuse and bewilder!

Sylvia, The cash in the mail box IS your Cashback for combined "Harrahs LV,
Rio, and/or Harrahs Laughlin". They told me that as a destination resort
they do not have to Give away the house like some other of their properties
do. In Atlantic City there are many times you receive much larger additional
BINUS Cash offers and they had double cash back all of NOV and DEC, but even
then it did not total very high. Tom

Several months ago at the Rio I was told I had $82 in cashback and I also
had the mailer with me which was for about $20. Maybe the cashback was from
before the switchover?

I have been reading some of these posts about
Harrah's Rio, et.al. and they do have a complicated
system. Early last January, my wife and I were comped
to a gorgeous suite at Harrah's Lauglin and more, free
show tickets, a $100 gift certificate, a free hour's
massage! I was going to let my wife have the massage
but she chickened out when they only had male massage
guys, no maseuses (sp?) and I had the only massage
since I was in the army in Japan 44 years ago! It was
ok. My wife made me buy one of those disposable
cameras just so she could take pictures of the suite.
I even took one of her in the nude sitting in the
Jacuzzi bath. If I say so myself she looks damn good
for a woman her age (which is classified information,
btw.) She won't let me show it to anyone except my
kids and daughter-in-law, hell I wanted to show it to
my colleagues at work!! One of my sons was not sure he
wanted to see this picture, he said "that's my mom!" I
have kind of a libertarian outlook to life btw. My
wife does not gamble, seldom accompanies me on my
trips to Nevada but she admits she is coming around to
what I do for a hobby as an advantage video poker
player. There are other benefits besides coming out
positive, folks. I had a good year, I worry about my
IRS obligations, dare I say I was even lucky (I
understand this group considers the word luck somewhat
taboo?)

at .00067 and how does this translate to dollars? e.g.,$90.00 in is worth 1.11% or $1.00. -- In vpFREE@yahoogroups.com, "Sylvia" <sgosline@e...> wrote:

Uh, you were doing ok till you got here. Don't even THINK of going off your
prescription medication...

I'm not the one that came up with the .00067 figure. That was Joel who said
he put through $48000 and earned $32. Divide 48000 into 32 for .00067. If
you can figure out your coin through and then find out what your cashback
is, you can figure out the %. With Harrah's, every $10 of VP gives you 1
base reward credit. If you can determine the # of base credits you earned
you can figure out your coin through (the amount of money you cycled through
the machine) by multiplying times 10. I don't think it is that
straightforward though for Harrah's and cashback seems to vary depending on
where and what you play and probably a number of other unknowns.

Not at all. We all experience good, bad and average luck over
varying time frames, and we base our expectations on the good
and bad luck at least evening out eventually.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I tend to
ramble and get6personal...... Hey, I only take three
prescriptions, a Statin, a blood pressure medication,
and an allergy medication, no drugs to control
psychotic behavior, for example! My master's degree
is essentially in Psychology, that is another one of
my many interests.
