Harrahs and Discount Tickets

I am a Diamond rated player but I do not see much value
in being one. Case in point, there are free tickets to a
couple of shows, one per month. Also, 2 for 1 ticket
offers but also can only use one offer/month for any
offer.

Friends wanted to see Jubilee so I went to get 2 for 1
ticket for 3 people. Not allowed since I had seen George
Wallace on a 2 for 1 offer this month. BTW, third person
does not get price break so when using this offer get
4 tickets and give away the extra one since it will be
free.

Be aware that ANYONE can get these 2 for 1 tickets to
Jubilee by getting coupon in "View" pamphlet handouts
and may also be in some other throw away magazines.

Instead of chastising Diamond players by only giving one
such offer when it is available to general public is typical
Harrahs thinking. Bell captain said Harrahs has cut his
staff in half and they cannot provide same level of service
and that employee morale is at an all time low in every
department.

I guess Harrahs management thinks these cost cutting
moves will want us to frequent them?

Please tell me again the value of a Diamond or 7 Star rating.

None, that's why I'm letting my diamond status disappear this year. I get
better comps and deals from other casino's without wasting my money on very
bad VP schedules.

"Gambling giant Harrah's Entertainment recently cut the hours at some of its casino VIP lounges, and even replaced plates full of hearty sandwiches with bruschetta and hummus. The moves riled Harrah's middle-market customers, who are accustomed to getting the high-roller treatment in exchange for their loyalty."
