Does anyone know how to get and keep a high ADT? I have been told by a host its not so much as how much you gamble but for how long on the same machine? If the amount does matter what do they consider a lot?

That analogy to a host and their grasp of how players are rated is
probably pretty close to the mark.
General guidance on maintaining a strong ADT is not to split play
between casinos within any given day, on check-in/check-out days play
only at your hotel casino, and to play strongly when you play at all.
