Harrah's 2X Points

I played at Caesars Palace on November 17 which was supposed to be 2X
Base Reward points for Platinum and Diamond members as listed in Scot's
column. I activated my account for the multipoints at the Rewards
Center prior to playing. The boothling there told me the 2X points are
now based on Bonus Reward points and not Base Reward points. I was
skeptical of this explanation and asked at the other Total Rewards
booth. There I was told that they "thought" it was still based on Base
Reward points but they did not think there were multipoints on "high
payback machines" that give no Bonus Reward points. None of the
machines I played that day, video poker or slots, gave any Bonus Reward
points. I have since checked my account online and I received no point
multiplication for my play that day.

Any Harrah's experts know what's up?

That's the first I've heard of a multiplier being based on bonus points. It's supposed to be based on base points, no machines excluded, and it usually takes several days for the multiplier to show up. 5 days should've been enough time by now but give it another day or two before going back to the CP booth.

My guess is answer number two is correct, basically they think you're
an "advantage gambler", and much like card counting in blackjack,
casinos consider that to be illegal, even though it's perfectly legal.
What you've seen is the "soft backoff", persist and you'll see more
interesting measures. You might consider getting a lawyer on retainer:

And, yesterday, I saw Quick Quads in the main casino.

In California they are giving 10x points in November.

To follow up, these points finally showed up on my account more than
one week after playing. I got 2X my base points added in the form of
reward points. I got the multiplier for all points earned, even on the
9/6 JoB machines.

That's the first I've heard of a multiplier being based on bonus

excluded, and it usually takes several days for the multiplier to show
