First time posting anything. Responding to Ted Chee"s comments on
Hard Rock credit card charges. You MUST officially dispute errant charges
within a certain time frame 60-90 days or you have no leg to stand on with the
credit card company.I want to alert everyone about Providian where I had a
credit card. Someone fraudulently charged airline tickets to my card and Providian
neglected to inform me that you had to officially dispute the charges. They
intended to charge me despite the fact that no one flew on the hot tickets which
had been cancelled. It was the very devil to get them to eventually do me the
favor "just this once" of recovering the money from the willing airline.
Other credit card firms are not like that HASTA LA VISTA PROVIDIAN!
