Yes, they will count the two points earned to get the
coupons toward the use of the free souvenir coupon.
One of the slot club attendants told me that to get
the monthly coupon sheet, you must earn enough points
first to redeem one of the coupons. The souvenir
coupon requires the least amount of points, 2 points
or $400 coin-in.
