I have tentatively booked a stay there next week. Can anyone tell me if the dollar 9/6 Jacks are still there ? Is there anything playable at 50 cents ?
Thanks,
Larry F.

Larry,
We were there last month. There were 9/6 jacks in both .25 and $1. The .25 version was on three machines that were tucked against the back wall. Enter the casino doors to the left of the desk. Walk to the back wall and turn right. Last three machines on the left.

I was there tihs weekend. There are 27 $1 9/6 jacks 4 of which are triple play. They also have 8/5 BP and NSU deuces. They are near the Coucil Oaks restaurant.
Drinks are free in high limit. If you want a drink go in and put in one coin. The waitresses are very friendly.
They are very big with discretionary comps. Make sure you have the front desk check with a host before you check out.
Joel

They have $10 blackjack 24/7. Drinks are only free in the high limit slot area. They do have a very comfortable lounge in the back of the high limit slots called the plum Room. one of the nicest lounges i've seen. Decent food, top shelf liquor and very comfortable.
If you have an X card, drinks are free anywhere.

Points are worth .125. they frequently have 2x, 3x and for the last few months 10x point days. I have always had all my charges comped. This weekend we had dinner for 10 in council oaks ($800+) plus all other meals comped without using points. Points can be converted to Free Play 1;1. They frequently have 2:1 and 3;2 Free play offers.
They also send out monthly mailers with weekly free play and property credit coupons.

VP is excluded from the 10x days as of my last trip through South Florida (1/10), also I saw no NSUD, but I only looked on a few machines in HL and the multi-lines outside. There was a mistake .25-.5-$1 15-11 there for 3-4 months with excellent theo, but that's long gone. But, maybe things have changed in the last month or so.
I also have a recent report that it's now $4/pt on the VP which would cut the free play rate to .0625.
Rest is accurate. Until now, HR was at best marginal, you could at least play them for the rooms and a couple of meals, but it's not a place you can make any money at. With the .0625 rate, it's basically unplayable unless the NSUD actually exists.
They're well protected, IMHO against so-called unprofitable players. Maybe a little too well protected, but that's the times more than anything else.

You are correct on the Deuces, the SF is shorted to 9. I'm not sure if that makes them airport deuces. Maybe as an X cars the 10X point was good on VP the last time I played it.

That would make them Airport (Or Illinois Deuces). Actually this game first appeared at the Four Queens in the early 90's as a 4 coin game with the RF still paying the full 4,000 coins.
