1. Do the math. Would you rather dig $100 out of your purse and put it into a 10/7 DB game at Fiesta Rancho, or put a free $50 into a 9/6 DB game at the Hard Rock?
2. Amenities. Would you prefer to leave the casino with a memory of just having seen some of the best looking people on the planet, or is the collection of scary leftovers at Arizona Charlies - Decatur more your cup of tea?
3. Ancillary items. If you happen to get hungry while you're there, can you picture yourself with a bowl of the world's best chicken noodle soup from Mr. Lucky's sitting in front of your face, or are you willing to chance the gourmet food served up at the El Cortez?
I would prefer a place with good games, good food, good ambiance, and good rewards.
I believe that in order to get the free play one must do a lot of play in order to earn it, so point one is silly.
There are places with good machines and beautiful people. i.e. Palms .
There are places with good machines and good food. i.e. GVR .

In conjunction with your first point above, I believe HRH offers everything you've mentioned--at least for a visitor based upon what I've received, so playing the games there has more than one dimension to it.

We keep on rockin' at the HR despite their lack of anything better than 9/6 JoB because their mailings have been exceptional. We get a total of $325 in cash coupons and $100 in food coupons every month, despite only averaging about $12K/month in action there. We haven't been able to figure out any rhyme or reason to the mailings; they seem to stay the same regardless on monthly fluctuations in action and win/loss, but we figure they add a solid 2 or 3% to our ER. Also, it doesn't hurt that we also happen to really like playing (and eating) there.

If you average only $6000, you will get $240. That's 4%
