Hard Rock $1 and $2 NSUD Spin Poker - PLAY DEAD

If this is a swipe at me about revealing the CC slot club changes, you need to get over that. Presumably, they sent that mail out to everyone who had a card, and changes at the slot club level quickly get updated here anyway, no matter if I post them or someone else. I wasn't aware of the video BJ, which is obviously your sore point; even if I was, I still would've posted the slot club info as a courtesy to all vpFREE members.

At least I don't go posting
off about changes in a slot club's program without knowing the
complete inventory, and who gets mail, first.

you need to get over that. Presumably, they sent that mail out to

To my knowledge, no LV local got mail from CC previously, at least to
a LV address (no one I knew who played there got offers using a LV
address). It may or may not have changed with the new slot club, but I
would have worked on the assumption that it didn't. Accidentally
doubling the points on some machines certainly didn't help their
longevity, either. No one is going to play a 99.7 VBJ game with .25
and no offers (the default for a LV resident). When it becomes a .3%
game, there's some interest, and it gets burned down at .7%, which is
what the CC play was (accidentally, but it didn't change the
circumstances). Because of the local play, pretty everything that was
playable there got burned down, so they might have been on to
something by not sending offers in the first place (which were pretty
good, especially on a 99.7% VBJ machine).

It's not that I don't want to be of assistance, but there's just not
enough respect out there for what we do. There's quite a distance
between being a recreational player and a professional, but today's
recreational player gives up less than before and probably beats theo
easily. I've tried to not let this impact my income, but I play a lot
of exotic stuff the rec player would never dream of trying. But that
stuff isn't so exotic any more.

I apologize for repeating myself incessantly, but I just see too much
out there which those in my peer group would take immediate advantage
of, and has. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing at times. To do
what I've done for over the period of time I have, you have to know
more than one trick. Actually, the last couple of years you could make
a decent living playing 9-6 Jacks alone, but that's over now.
Considering how much the business is off all over right now, that deal
may come back. One never knows.

Somewhere out there, there's an 8% and a 3% quarter play. Neither play
is anywhere near LV. They're both IGT programming errors on the
machine. I don't talk about them because they're, to my mind,
something outside what VPFree was intended to be about. This is in
theory, a recreational player's forum. But many of you sure don't act
like it! Y'all get into the casino, you start thinking like me (good
luck!). So, since this is a recreational player's forum, I don't see
the need to be posting about a $300 play which you can't afford to
play (and that lasted <48hrs, if it existed at all, which proves my
point). With all due respect, it's disingenuous to want to assert one
thing, while actually practicing another.

OK, another plane to catch, another play to go to. Enough for today.

This is, in reality, a VP forum.
