All the downtown hotels I checked were sold out. Silver Legacy was overbooked at -10. Probably could have auctioned our room off for twice. Temps below freezing. They still put on a great fireworks show from the rooftops of Silver Legacy & Eldorado.
Note that another casino has changed their pt structure so that it takes 2.5 X more play for VP. This may be like Peppermill where it's customer-specific but I think it's a general change. It's important to keep a log on each casino you visit so you can spot when this happens & act accordingly.
