Just got back from a Mexico cruise. Lots of democrats looking for
new places to live, and lots of republicans just there to, I guess,
gloat and get drunk. Had a couple conservatives at our table and I
was amazed to find out that (in their narrow opinion) there are
WMD's in Iraq and that Osama Bin Laden was working for Saddam when
he took out the WTC on 9/11. Guess Singer wasn't the only one with a
truth comprhension problem. Weather was pretty good and I enjoyed
the warm for a change from the constant suicide-grey overcast so
prevalent in the Specific Northwest this time of year (and for the
next 6 months). To Tom: I'm still not joining your side but I've got
a pretty good quote from the red-state cover girl.

Jeez, I'd like to get a Lewinski from her just to shut her up for
awhile. Another noteable fact: seems that the amount of aid that we
are sending to tsunami victims in Indonesia is just a little less
that what W's spending on his inaguration festivities. Oh well, Nero
did fiddle while Rome burned. As long as our priorities are straight.
