Happy Birthday to vpFREE! December 26th (resending)

Trying again, the first time the quoted material disappeared when the post
appeared. Just had <> for some reason. I surrounded the quote with << >> before
I sent it.

My extremely limited understanding: Those marks indicate the beginning and end of an html command. Typically those marks and the code within them are "invisible" to html enabled formats. AOL mail uses Rich Text format that allows some use of html code. It lets AOL users do interesting stuff with their mail to AOL members, but in my experience has had some undesirable affects when mailing other formats.

And for burping and changing the dirty nappies when necessary. Everyone knows there's more fun in the conception... but perhaps I take the metaphor too far;-)
