My question was a bit more about the sequence of should the handpay precede the playing of the next hand.
I did say to the attendant "what if I am not going to play another hand" and she said "well then I will have to clear the machine" but it was clear that she was not paying me until the display was removed from the machine.
I was wondering if there was any loophole that if the win was not showing a casino could try to get out of paying.
On another note as to calling for Casino Gaming Commission. In Michigan, the Gaming Commission rep on site will not talk to players. The Gaming Commission rep in Michigan is only there to make sure that the State of Michigan is not being cheated and not to handle complaints/comments from players. (I found this out in a disagreement over something earlier in the week.)
