Well this is baseball's Hall of Fame weekend. Cooperstown, New York
will be the focal point of the festivities. Wade Boggs and Ryne
Sandberg are the players being inducted.
But vpFREE has it's own HOF voting. First, we should review the
current membership, and how they got elected.
vpFREE was born on the day after Christmas in the year 2001. The
membership was a group of hardcore VP players. I remember joining my
first Yahoo! group with a reference from the paid Las Vegas Advisor
forum site, sometime before the inaugural HOF voting in 2002.
Frankly, I did not know alot of the nominees for the first class of
five charter members. The first five elected, probably without my
vote, were:
Gary Catlin
Lenny Frome
Si Redd
Stanford Wong
Dean Zamzow
This election was sort of like baseball's veteran's committee. The
old timers elected the slate.

In 2004, Bob Dancer made it into the ring of fame.

My VP education has grown over these years. I will vote this year
based upon the fact that I can actually identify with all the
nominees for their contributions. Please make the vpFREE
administrator happy and educate yourself about the folks who are
currently up for election to the vpFREE Hall of Fame, and then vote!
