GVR Video Poker Tourney

Does anyone know how these work?

What games (DB,DDB,JOB) do they let you play? Do you decide or do they?
Is is 'x' amount of credit to start and the amount you finish with? or
is it number of jackpots? Do you use your own money or "free credits"?

Thanks

Has the tournament been re-started? The last time I called GVR (which
was a few months ago), I was told the tournaments had been
discontinued.

Apparently no one knows very much about this tournament.
If anyone learns something, please post the details.

======================================
I was invited to the only VP Tourney I've EVER seen/heard about at
GVR. However I waited more than five minutes to call in and was shut
out being put on a wait list. The tourney was on 9/5 Double Double
Bonus machines. Don't know any other particulars which is why I did
not post right away.

I received the invitation in the mail and registered to play. It is
invitation only and with 2 sesions being held June 16th and June
17th. There is no buy in involved and the offer came with free
accomodations of 4 days/3 nights. The video poker is on a DDB
machine (not sure of the paytable) and they start you with 1000
credits. Play time each session is for 10 minutes.

I know they are giving away $10,000 in prizes but will probably have
to call them to find out how many are entered and what the prize
breakdown is.

I also hooked this offer up with an offer from Rio (of course I hear
the VP is sucky there at the moment and will play elsewhere) for 4
nights comped so it will be a nice break from New York.

Will update it I get through to GVR and have anymore information on
the tournament.
