At start swipe card and my wife has 300,000 cb points
and 500,000 comp points.
It sounds like their new system is working as advertised and your wife got an increase in points that can only be used for comps.
CB totaled ~$500. ((Was advised to take it all as
effects use of comp points on future trips(?))
Maybe they were referring to comps you get from a host. Station hosts have been known to tell customers to use their points when they ask for a discretionary comp.
