Guaranteed Video Poker - TV ads

Station isn't giving up easily. Now they seem determined to blanket
local TV with ads for GVP. Except there is at least one problem. One
of the players (or actors) shown states "the same paytables". That is
a flagrant lie. Game Kings that had 8/5 BP at the 25c level now have
7/5 BP GVP.

Then a guy is shown hitting a Royal for 4000 credits. Unfortunately,
he does not appear to be even playing a GVP machine. No hands
remaining meter in the top left.

Even stranger, after hitting the 4000 credits, the credit meter in
lower right shows 4522 credits. This would seem to be impossible since
GVP requires max coin. This was discussed at lunch today and there
were two theories:

1) Instead of cash, the player entered a ticket.

or

2) It's a technical error in production and the ad exec shoud be fired.

What do others think?

It is a shame that they have to lie -The GCM shoudl eb notified about this deception and either require the Stations to pull the ads at once or change the pay tables to be truthful. In addition they should be required to refund to the players by a promo or whatever the money they got since they started advertising, that is the difference between the regular pay and the GVP pay.
