Gtown does it again

Greektown ran an invite only promo where you get bonus play based on coin in. The front of the card says 'earn 10 points, get $10'. The back says 'earn up to $200 in freeplay'. What they failed to put into print anywhere is that the first $10 is earned for 10 points but it takes 200 points to get $30 and 1850 points to get the full $200.

My friend Tom was so honked off he called gaming. This after the boothling told him no one from gaming is available or on site.

Now, a boothling who doesn't understand a promo is nothing new. A boothling who lies about MGCB availability is another story. And in typical Gtown boothling fashion, whenever there is a dispute, they only know one word. NEXT!

Small wonder they are trailing the other casinos in revenue. Small wonder they went bankrupt. Small wonder they can't attract the big gamblers. They would have a hard time finding their own rump using both hands and a GPS.

I looked at the postcard for this promo and in 9 seconds saw that it was going to be a problem. Either they are giving away too much or they are leaving conditions out of the flyer.

It's like their sit and go tourneys. For some reason, they don't feel the need for written rules. It's like 3 high school guys got a large inheritance and said "Hey, let's open a casino". We don't know what we are doing , but how hard could it be?

I could make Gtown more profitable, more popular and more efficient in a month if they gave me control of the slots/video poker and promotions.

Wish I'd have known what a scam it was. We went down to play $1 Deuces for the day, figuring $4000 coin-in (200 pts.), nets us $200 in free-play. But. of course, it was like you said, $10 for the first 10 points, but 200 pts for the day only gets you another $20. That was bad enough, but all bonus-play (even the pre-loaded daily bonus-play) was delayed for about three hours!!You had to have your card in for almost three hours before you could download your bonus-play. Everyone playing there was irritated. We both got our 200 points, but the lousy extra $20 was going to take another hour or two to download (so they told us), but we had to leave. They claim that we can get the $20 next time we go. Is it worth going back for? At least I hit a few good hands and was up for the day.
